Remembering Cathy Noon

Cathy Noon, former Nourish Meals on Wheels Board Member, senior advocate, community leader, and friend, lost her five-and-a-half-year battle with pancreatic cancer on December 11. She was a warrior in her fight against cancer, but also in her tireless work to improve the lives of seniors.

Cathy was always a trail blazer. Her forward-thinking, collaborative nature and determination to make a positive impact on older adults in our community made her an ideal board member.  Her Nourish colleagues considered it an honor and joy to serve with Cathy. Before she was the Mayor of Centennial, she would look at the data and say “There is a silver tsunami coming our way. We have to be ready.”

More than a decade after appearing in this video for Nourish (formerly TLC), she still championed the cause.  We feel privileged that Cathy shared her time, wisdom, and passion with Nourish.  She left an indelible mark on our organization and the community we serve. Hers is a lasting legacy, and she will be sorely missed.
