Hope in Full Bloom: Sharing Warmth, One Plant at a Time 🌸🌿

Updated: Feb 24

Spring came early for our clients, thanks to our annual partnership with the Rotary Club's Flower Power program! Each year, Rotary Clubs across the Denver Metro area distribute more than 8,000 plants to older adults, bringing warmth, color, and joy to those who need it most. This year, 700 of those plants were delivered by the Rotary Club of Littleton to Nourish Meals on Wheels for delivery to our clients.

More than just flowers, these plants were a symbol of hope, renewal, and community kindness. As winter lingers, these small touches of spring remind our clients that they are thought of, valued, and cared for.

"I was so happy to receive the most beautiful plants yesterday! I found the perfect spot for the hyacinth in my kitchen, where I can enjoy its wonderful scent as it continues to bloom. My mother was a gardener, so this gift means a lot to me. When the weather warms up, I’ll plant it outside. I just love all the extra things Nourish provides—it truly brightens my day!" – Vergie B.

We are so grateful to the Rotary Club of Littleton for supporting Nourish and to the many Rotary Clubs that make this annual tradition possible for thousands of older adults.

We’re thrilled that this community effort was featured on Next with Kyle Clark on 9NEWS! 🎉 Watch the story here:
