OPPORTUNITIES
One thing we have in common with our community is that everyone has, or will be, a senior. It’s a common thread in all our lives and it brings us together because we see ourselves in the need.
It’s also why so many partnering organizations and businesses come alongside our seniors. Deeply engrained within our values, we know we’re called to honor our elders. So identifying the need isn’t necessary, it simply means it’s time to show up and get to work.
Team building is the corporate term, but when co-workers remove trash, paint the porch, conduct a food drive or underwrite meals, another great senior moment takes on a whole new meaning that lingers on in our community.
We’ve taken care of our own and that sticks and makes us better people. It’s not surprising that local churches, businesses and community partners find giving at work helps them keep their people longer and happier in the workplace.
We nourish the community by partnering with businesses and organizations in a common cause — our senior neighbors — and by putting a face and a home and a project in the hearts of our community partners that will linger a lifetime.
Thank You Conagra Brands Foundation
A special thank you to the Conagra Brands Foundation for recently awarding Nourish Meals on Wheels a grant through the “Nourish Our Community” Program.
Last year, Nourish Meals on Wheels prepared and delivered 178,000 meals to homebound seniors while also nurturing their social and emotional needs through meaningful personal interaction and wellness checks. This grant from Conagra Brands Foundation, supports the production and delivery of approximately 8,000 meals per month for seniors who do not have the means to contribute to the costs of these meals.
Without the support of community partners like Conagra Brands Foundation, we would not be able to serve our mission: To enrich the lives of seniors and homebound adults in the South-Metro Denver area by providing nutritious meals and services that promote dignity, well-being, and independence.

Community Support
Our supporters include businesses, municipalities, community and family foundations, service clubs, religious organizations and individual donors. Together, they provide the financial means and in-kind goods and services that make our organization thrive. It is only with their support that we are able to meet the needs of our community.
We list them here with our utmost gratitude for their generosity. We regret we cannot list our individual donors as there are too many to mention, but our appreciation for their gifts and support goes out to all of them. Thank you!
